• Scrutiny:
  • Heads, 2010, Due to a printing error in Heads (2010, Zootaxa 2476: 23-29), R. saussurei was not listed in any species group. Günther (1969: 421) allies this species with R. mexicana, R. tricolor, R. saltator and R. boilleyi in the Scrofulosa Group. This is supported by the distinctive white markings and fold-like ornamentation of the frons.
