• Scrutiny:
  • Braun & Heller, 2012, This species appears twice in Brunner von Wattenwyl's Additamenta (1891) to his monograph (1878): in the key as Isopsera aliena and in the main text as Allodapa aliena. It is not listed in the new "dispositio specierum generis Isopserae" (1891: p. 109), and thus no new species, despite the "sp. n." in the emended key. In the key it is once misspelled Ischnoptera aliena (a lapsus, since Brunner certainly knew Burmeister's genus of cockroaches). Allodapa is a junior homonym and was replaced by the name Pelerinus I. Bolivar, 1906 (published in July issue according to footnote on p. 393). The substitute name for Brunner's "Ischnoptera" Phanischnoptera Kirby, 1906 (preface dating from November 12) is a junior synonym.
