  • Heads, 2010, Kirby (1910: 586) states that Eremobius Blanchard, 1851 is unavailable as a junior homonym of Eremobia Audinet-Serville, 1838. This is incorrect as the two names are spelled differently and were erected for genera in separate families (i.e. Eremobius is not a misspelling of Eremobia). Nevertheless, Eremobius is a junior homonym of Eremobius Gould, 1839 (Aves: Furnariidae).
