  • Eades, 2004, Although a more recent publication (Gorochov, 1998) treated this as valid, it appears Gorochov was not aware of Johns, 1997 explanation for making this a synonym.
• Type genus:  Mimnermus Stål, 1876 (= Henicus Gray, G.R., 1837); priority for family-group names based on Mimnermus dates from Mimnermi Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888.  First use as Mimnermidae by Stål, 1876.
