Redescription

Content:  Frontal fastigium small; vertixial fastigium porrect, apically swollen, medially sulcate dorsally; pronotal carinae grossly rightangulate but edges rounded, not elevated; tympanal aperture anteriorly 30-40% and posteriorly 40-50% of tibial width; posterior margin of tegminae obliquely truncate distally. Male stridulatory file about 5 mm in length with about 150 apparently functional teeth arranged; styliform processes fused to subgenital plate; cerci terminating in a pair of dissimilar blunt spines. Females nongenitally similar to male; ovipositor upturned through 65º.

Mean size. – Male, total length 68 mm, tegmen 53 x 16, metatibia 33; female 78, 63 x 21, 36, ovipositor 5,5. Specimens from Panama are 10% larger.

Color (deduced).- Green, posterior margin and posterolateral angles of pronotum narrowly but strongly black and with area contained chocolate brown; pro- and mesotibiae brown or with darker markings, dorsal surface of metatibiae darker; tegminae with or without darker mottling; frons and clypeus medially purple, metacoxoepimeral membrane purple and white.
